NRM-5000/NRM-6000
Durable, Long Lasting Metal Roofing
The NRM-5000 and 6000 panels are designed to provide durable, long lasting roofing solutions. One piece design of the snap lock panel makes it easy for quick installation while minimizing labor involved in rolling up your next large order! Snap-lock panels are to be factory roll-formed in continuous lengths. Maximum length is 44’ 0˝ and minimum length is 4’ 0˝.
Standard panel widths are 12˝ (NRM-5000) and 16˝ (NRM-6000). Optional pencil ribs or striations can be added at no additional cost.
Fasteners - For roofing applications, use wood-type screws fastened on 24˝ centers. Other screw types are available applications over structural steel and steel decking.
Trim - All flashing and trim shall be fabricated by Nu-Ray Metals or a qualified fabricator. Flashings for this panel shall be 26 or 24 gauge steel.
Installation - For roofing applications, Nu-Ray’s snap-lock panels shall be installed over solid decking (5⁄8˝ plywood, nailboard insulation or equivalent, with an underlayment of 30# roofing felt applied horizontally from eave to ridge.) Panels shall be fastened on 24˝ centers (max.). Minimum roof pitch is 3:12.
Handling - Vinyl masking is provided on all steel sheet to help protect materials where extra handling is expected.
Warranty - A 40-year non-prorated finish warranty can be supplied covering finish performance.

The Classic Metal Roofing
NRM-1000 is an architectural metal roofing system available exclusively from Nu-Ray Metal Products. It is intended for applications over a solid substrate with a minimum 3:12 roof pitch. Typical substrates include plywood, nailboard insulation or equivalent. Panels are factory roll-formed in continuous lengths. Standard panel length is 4’ 0˝ to 44’ 0˝. NRM-1000 roof panels feature a concealed attachment clip system to allow thermal movement as panels expand and contract with temperature changes. With its custom design, the clip insures an extra-snug fit. The one-piece design of the NRM-1000 clip makes installation easy.
Fasteners - For roofing applications, use wood-type screws fastened on 18˝ centers. Other screw types are available applications over structural steel and steel decking.
Trim - All flashing and trim shall be fabricated by Nu-Ray Metals or a qualified fabricator. Flashings for this panel are 26 or 24 gauge steel.
Installation - For roofing applications, Nu-Ray’s snap-lock panels shall be installed over solid decking (5/8˝ plywood, nailboard insulation or equivalent) with an underlayment of 30# (minimum) roofing felt applied horizontally from eave to ridge. NRM-1750 panels combine architectural panel aesthetics with structural panel performance. The panel is produced in continuous lengths. Optional factory-applied seam sealant improves weather resistance. Factory eave notching aids in installation of hook eave flashing. Standard panel length is 4’ 0˝ to 44’ 0˝. On-site forming is available for longer lengths; For longer lengths, please contact us.
NRM-1750 features 1¾˝ leg height and continuous interlock for enhanced structural performance and wind resistance. A concealed clip system allows thermal expansion/contraction while providing extraordinary hold-down strength. Two clips are available: a standard clip for mansard and fascia applications; and a high performance clip for UL 90 Rated roof installations.
Fasteners - For roofing applications, use wood-type screws fastened on 36˝ centers. Other screw types are available applications over structural steel and steel decking.

Best for Low-slope Roofs
NRM-2000 panels are ideal for low-slope applications, combining structural panel performance with architectural panel aesthetics. Optional factory-applied seam sealant can be applied for additional weather resistance on low-slope applications. Maximum panel length is variable as Nu-Ray has the capability to form continuous panels on site for long roof sections. Maximum factory-formed panel length is 44’ 0˝. Minimum panel length is 4’ 0˝.
NRM-2000 features 1½˝ leg height that requires mechanical field seaming after installation. The panel employs a concealed-fastener floating clip system that allows thermal expansion/contraction.
Fasteners - Panel shall be fastened via attachment clip spaced on 24˝ centers; for wider clip spacing, please check with Nu-Ray Customer Service. Other screw types are available applications over structural steel and steel decking.

Factory-injected seam sealant is required on pitches less than 2:12.
