After we tore off the old cedar shake roof, the homeowner wanted a new roof that had the look of a cedar shake roof, but didn't want to put wood back on; we installed the CertainTeed Presidential TL, a shingle that looks a lot like cedar shake but without the maintenance of wood shakes. The shingle color is Autumn Blend, designed specifically for our area to resemble cedar shake roofing.

TL stands for triple laminate roofing system, meaning the roof has an entire layer of extra fiberglass and asphalt. It's a thick shingle, the only three-layer shingle of its kind in the industry, with more asphalt for protection against weathering and thermal shock. It looks awesome. It brings the house back to life. It looks brand new again.

Notice the solar panels on the roof. We collaborate with a leading solar company, ensuring that wherever they install solar panels, we install ice and water shields and a couple of extra layers of underlayment under those areas to ensure that everything is protected when they install and attach the solar panels. We also replaced three skylights on the roof, something we like to do with our new roof installations, so it falls under our warranty.
