In removing the old roof, we did find some damaged wood that we repaired. There are several skylights. We took those off and installed new metal flashing all around the skylights. We reuse the skylights if they're in good shape, or we can replace the skylights with new ones. After the roof installation, we completed a thorough ground cleanup.

This roof also includes embedded granules that help clean the air of emission pollutants. The manufacturer-backed warranty covers the materials for 50 years and labor for 15 years. So if we retire and move to Hawaii, you still have a workmanship warranty and all the materials needed to fix the roof.
