Video Description
Three Tree Roofing recently completed a commercial roofing project in Tukwila, Washington, where we replaced an existing torch-down roof with a more environmentally friendly approach. The team utilized sponge shovels to diligently remove the old material, which was then responsibly placed in a container for recycling. The recycled material is repurposed as asphalt for roads, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly roofing operations.
In the quest for efficiency and sustainability, our TPO roofing experts opted for a WeatherBond 60mil gray TPO membrane. This recyclable roofing material contributes to environmental responsibility and excels in heat reflection, ensuring a cooler building in the summer. The installation process included meticulous work on perimeter edges before applying large rolls of the TPO roofing material. The outcome is a high-performing roof that enhances the building aesthetically and provides superior protection against the elements.
This project exemplifies Three Tree Roofing's dedication to quality and environmentally conscious practices, showcasing its ongoing commitment to delivering top-notch roofing solutions. All right. Another completed commercial building by Three Tree Roofing. This one is in Tukwila. This roof started as a torch-down— a standard flat roof in our area. You can see in the video that we're tearing off the material. So, the guys will use sponge shovels and remove all the products. We will then put that in a container that will get recycled.
The old torch-down material is ground up and reused as asphalt for the roads. We wanted to go with some newer products that we can recycle and better reflect the heat. So we keep the buildings cool in the summertime. We went with a weather bond, 60 mil gray TPO material. It's a perfect performing roof. We installed all the perimeter edges and all the detail pieces, then rolled our big rolls of material in.
