The advantage of Nu-Ray metal roofing in conjunction with solar panels is the Nu-Ray NRM-1000 roof panels feature a snap-lock concealed fastener, allowing for the innovative approach of using clips for the solar racking that pinch onto the pencil ribs without nails. This unique feature prevents the need for poking holes into the metal during the racking system installation. It provides a secure foundation for the solar panels without compromising the roof's integrity.

The design of the panels includes bumped-up pencil ridges, adding definition and architectural appeal to the roof design. The color chosen for this project is charcoal gray, a visually appealing option that provides flexibility for various paint choices. Nu-Ray metal panels are custom to the roof, with each panel cut to fit the house's specific dimensions, providing a clean and tailored roof installation.
